1. General Information These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of the electronic signature platform ("Odoo Sign") provided by Micapic B.V., headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands. By using this platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the service.

2. Definitions

  • Platform: Refers to the Odoo Sign module used for creating, sending, and managing electronic signatures.
  • User: Refers to individuals or entities using the platform to sign or request signatures.
  • Document: Any electronic file uploaded to the platform for the purpose of signature or review.
  • Electronic Signature: A legally recognized method of signing a document electronically.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Users must provide accurate and valid information while using the platform.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring that all uploaded documents comply with Dutch and EU laws and do not violate intellectual property rights or privacy regulations.
  • Users are solely responsible for the authenticity and legality of documents signed through the platform.
  • Users must maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials and notify us immediately of unauthorized access or suspected misuse.

4. Use of the Platform

  • The platform is designed for managing electronic signatures and related processes.
  • It must not be used for illegal, fraudulent, or unethical activities.
  • Micapic B.V. reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for violations of these terms.

5. Legality of Electronic Signatures

  • Documents signed via the platform are legally binding under applicable laws, such as the eIDAS Regulation in the EU and Dutch legislation on electronic signatures.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring the validity of electronic signatures in their specific jurisdiction.
  • Some documents may require additional formalities (e.g., notarization) to be considered legally binding.

6. Data Privacy

  • All data and documents uploaded to the platform are processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Micapic B.V. does not access the content of documents unless explicitly authorized by the user for support purposes.

7. Liability

  • Micapic B.V. is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from misuse of the platform by users.
  • The platform is provided "as-is," with no guarantees regarding uninterrupted availability or suitability for specific purposes.
  • In no event shall the liability of Micapic B.V. exceed the fees paid for the service.

8. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for violations of these terms or any actions deemed harmful to the platform or other users.

9. Governing Law

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Rotterdam.

10. Amendments

  • Micapic B.V. reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
